tours are active so a reasonable level of fitness and swimming
ability is needed. If you enjoy hiking through gorges, swimming
in waterfalls and directly experiencing the environment then

scenery surrounding you, then have time to see Katherine
Township daily life in the outback.
Day 4... The
One (Apprrox. 4km walking)
- Last
day spent in beautiful Litchfield National Park for a
full day of swimming
- Highlights
include: Wangi Falls, Florence Falls, Buley Rockhole,
Tolmer Falls
- Return
to Darwin approximately 7-8pm
Accommodation
provided is full on bush camping, no "proper" toliets or
showers, but plenty of swimming. Guaranteed to come back
to Darwin tired, dirty and happy!
Areas
accessible in Kakadu for this time of year is the Yurmikmik
Area and Nourlangie Aboriginal Art Sites.
Waterfalls
called MotorCar Falls, Karundi Falls, Moline Rockhole, Gubara
& Gunlom Falls, and Boulder Creek. If Katherine Gorge is
inaccesible other areas of interest will be substituted.
We would
tailor the tour to suit the needs and fitness levels of
the group. Please be aware that all waterfalls are subject
to seasonal closures.
