GENERAL
Age
is no barrier on our tours but you do need a medium level
of fitness as some climbing and bushwalking is involved
to reach some of Kakadu's treasures. However, there is nothing
too strenuous and your tour guide is there for you. You
will be picked up from your accommodation at approximately
6:45am to commence your tour in one of our Toyota Troop
Carriers (inward facing seats). All vehicles carry a maximum
of 9 passengers. Your vehicle will be towing an off-road
trailer that is fully equipped with all camping requirement
and lots of food! Not only will your guide be the nicest
person you could hope to meet on your Top End adventure,
he/she will also be a great 'bush cook' and we know how
important being well fed is. So to ensure our food is of
the highest standard, we always buy the freshest and best
supplies available. You will quickly get to know your 8
fellow travellers as you leave Darwin behind but.....even
before you reach the park gates of Kakadu, do we have an
experience in store for you!!!

A maximum
of 15 passengers each time but a minimum of 5 passengers.

Territory.... do I need to be?
It is
true that there are many creepy crawlies in the region such
as snakes, spiders and insects and you need to be aware
of that but in reality, these creatures are more afraid
of us and generally stay out of the way!
I have
heard that mosquitoes and flies can be a problem. Is this
true?
Yes!
During the wet season (October-March) in the night time,
this can be true but generally a good insect repellent and
a hat with a fly veil will do the trick. (Mosquito nets
and insect repellent are provided on the tour).
Do
I need any money or are there any 'hidden costs'?
There
are no other hidden costs.
All
your light refreshments are provided such as water or cordial.
Do
I need to be really fit to go on this tour? No just be happy.
