awesome 4 Day camping safari with Billy Can Tours allows
you to explore three of the Top End's most amazing regions
- Kakadu, Katherine and Litchfield. Regardless of the time
of year, you'll find this remote and diverse region spectacular!

will be travelling in an air-conditioned drive vehicle
and exploring this extraordinary World Heritage area
with guide who really knows his or her stuff.
We
use several established campsites throughout the Park
to make sure you get the best bush experience.
Sleep
in two person tents on stretcher beds with mattresses,
sleeping bags and sheets provided. All campsites have
toilets and hot showers.

you bring comfortable walking shoes, shorts, t-shirts, long

1. |
Darwin
to Kakadu - After pick up from your accommodation,
you'll meet your Billy Can guide and head south towards
Kakadu National Park. Our first adventure is a crocodile
spotting cruise. Next we stop for a visit at the Bark Hut
Inn before continuing on into Kakadu. After lunch we head
for Ubirr Rock where we see classic examples of Aboriginal
rock art and spectacular 360 degree views straight out of
Crocodile Dundee! Tonight camp in our established camp site
under the stars.

2. |
Kakadu
to Katherine - After breakfast we visit Barramundi
Gorge in the dry season and Baraolba Springs or Gunlom Falls
when Barramundi Gorge is inaccessible. Both locations offer
an opportunity to swim in cool clear water, walk and explore
spectacular sandstone country. After lunch we travel south
out of the park into the historic mining area of Pine Creek.
On the way we stop in at Edith Falls for a refreshing swim.
We finish the day by travelling to our campsite at the historic
Springvale Homestead.

3. |
Katherine
to Mt Bundy Station - After an early start we travel
to the majestic Katherine Gorge for a choice of a two hour
cruise or a canoeing adventure up the Gorge. The waters
are clear, cool and safe for swimming. After lunch we travel
back up towards Darwin and continue on to our campsite at
Mt Bundy Station, on the bank of the Adelaide River, which
was once the largest cattle station in the Territory.

4. |
Mt
Bundy Station to Darwin - After breakfast, we depart for
Litchfield National Park. Litchfield is famous for its scenic
beauty, waterfalls and safe swimming. We visit Florence Falls,
Wangi Falls and Buley Rockholes and walk through beautiful
rainforests. On the way back to Darwin, we visit the township
of Batchelor and return to Darwin approximately 6.30pm.

luggage is limited to an overnight bag and a day pack. Most
Darwin accommodation will be happy to store any excess luggage
you may have, some do charge a small fee. We recommend that
your store valuables in the safety deposit at your Darwin
accommodation.

Activity
on this tour includes trekking, climbing, swimming and paddling
on an airbed and although the distances aren't great, in the
heat and humidity any activity is more strenuous. Passengers
need a reasonable level of fitness and agility and some participation
is encouraged. |
